ABC Challenge - T for Threes

This is my DT card for this week's challenge in ABC - T for threes. The idea is to used 3 of something on your card. I used an image from Elzybells with 3 carolsingers and 3 snowflakes. The paper is from Crafters Companion Christmas CD with image coloured with promarkers and stickles then cut on cuttlebug using nesties.

ABC - S for Snow

This is my DT card for this week's challenge on ABC - S for Snow.
The backing paper is a freebie from a mag with Magnolia image coloured with promarkers and stickles glitter. Ribbon and gems added. The sentiment is made on PC using safmat from Secret Crafter.

The image is a Forever Friends stamp coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter. The circle is cut on cuttlebug using nesties with paper from Red Hot Bed and of course, ribbon!

Magnolia Vs Stampavie #3

Late post today as been Christmas shopping with my sister :)
This card is made using fantastic sketch this week on Magnolia -v- Stampavie. The image is a Rachelle Ann Miller stamp coloured with promarkers and stickles added for bling (all bought from Secret Crafter). Paper is from Crafters Companion CD with blue bazzill bling card, ribbon, gems and eyelets from my stash. Sentiment is made on my PC using Safmat (also from Secret Crafter).

High Hopes Challenge #8

This card is made for my ABC DT buddy Cathy for her daughter as she is going into hospital soon (see post below).
The theme this week on High Hopes Challenge was "Buttons and Brads" and I thought this image of "Delia Angel" from High Hopes suited the occasion perfectly as the angel is hugging her cat and I wanted to send hugs to Ellie.
The papers are a freebie from Raspberry Road Designs with image coloured using promarkers from Secret Crafter. Buttons, brads and gems from my stash. The greeting is printed on my PC using Safmat from Secret Crafter.

Two cards - Two Challenges!

This first card is made using fab sketch on this week's challenge on Funky Fairy #41. The papers are from Crafters Companion CD with the penguin image taken from a freebie decoupage sheet from Funky Fairy Blog, which was cut on cuttlebug using nesties. Ribbon, snowflakes and gems from my stash.
This second card is made using another great sketch this week on Sketch Saturday #25. The image is a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter. The papers are from new site "Making Handmade Cards". The circle greeting is a download from Funky Fairy and the flower is cut on my Cricut using George cartridge. Ribbon from my stash and stickles added to accent.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #7

The image is Elzybells Eskimo paper piecing clothes and coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter. The circles are cut from card on cuttlebug using nesties then embossing in bug using baubles embossing folder. The paper is from my stash (sorry can't remember where from) Round Christmas greeting stamp from Cuddly Buddly with snowflake embellishments and stickles to finish.

3 Cards - 3 Challenges

This first card is made for this week's challenge on Whiff of Joy #8 - Boys Christmas card but no blue!
I made this card for my son using papers from Crafters Companion Christmas CD and Whiff of Joy stamp coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter. Circles cut on cuttlebug using nesties with snowflake embellishments and stickles to finish.
This card is made for my twin sister for her birthday. I used a sketch of mine from Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge wk1 for the layout. The challenge this week on Forever Friends was "Papermania" - to use 3 types of paper. The papers are from Cuddly Buddly (I did make the red more vibrant on my software) with satin and velvet ribbon border. The FF bear is coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter and cut on cuttlebug using nesties. The sister greeting is made on my PC (thanks Donna for the tutorial XXX) Gems, flowers and stickles added to finish.

This last card is made for my MIL birthday which fit very well with the challenge this week on Crafty Creations #26 - cards for Mum!
The mandala flower is from a freebie download from Fred, She Said blog. I cut the flowers in several layers and built up on foam pads. Sakura Stardust pens added to the borders and stickles for some sparkle. The backing paper is made using the same image on "My Craft Studio" software from C&C. The tag is cut from the same card with peel offs, ribbon, flowers and gems to finish. Not my fave type of card but MIL loves them.

Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge #25




This week's challenge on Spoon Full of Sugar is to make a children's card and as I had to make Christmas cards for my 2 nephews and niece I thought this was a perfect time!
The images are all new Christmas Magnolia images, coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter with stickles glitter added. The papers are from Triple Treasures Christmas Background CD from Create and Craft with oval cut on cuttlebug using nesties and border from card in my stash. The names are cut on Cricut using "Storybook" cartridge again from Secret Crafter. Ribbon and gems to finish.


Basic Grey Challenge #10

This is my card for Basic Grey Challenge #10 - Glitter.
The papers are Basic Grey "Sultry" with Sugar Nellie "Penpal" image coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter and cut on cuttlebug using nesties. Swirls are cut on Cricut using "Storybook" cartridge again from Secret Crafter. Gems and stickles glitter added to finish.

ABC Challenge - Q for Quick Card

This is my DT card for this week's challenge on ABC - Q for quick card. The brief was that the card had to be made in 20 mins.
The papers are from Pink Petticoat with Penny Black Hedgie image coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter with sakura stardust to accent. Elzybells greeting stamp and gems from my stash.

Two cards - three challenges

This first card is made for two challenges.
  1. Sketch Saturday #24 - Sketch layout
  2. Magnolia -v- Stampavie #2 - Clean and simple

The image is a Tilda from Fall Magnolia Stamp Club, coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter with stickles added to her wings. The sentiment at the side is from Elzybells. Papers are from a freebie set from Summertime Designs with wide white ribbon and flower from my stash. (Thanks to Jo for "borrowing" her idea of the folded back corner and brad xx)

This next card is made using fabulous sketch this week on Papertake Weekly Challenge. A nice simple sketch but so effective.
The papers and stamp image are all from Cuddly Buddly with the image being coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter. The circle greeting is part of the backing paper cut on cuttlebug using nesties.

This is a double challenge card.

The image is a new Rachelle Ann Miller Stamp coloured with promarkers (both from Secret Crafter) with papers from freebie CD that came with a crafting magazine from Crafters Companion. Sentiment stamp from Elzybells. Eyelets and gems from my stash with stickles glitter added for the "sparkle".

Really love this one and the sketch is fab so I think I may be using it again :o)

Cute Card Thursday Challenge #35

This is my card for this week's challenge on Cute Card Thursday. The them is "Cheers".
I have used FF bears stamp coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter and backed onto green and silver card. The top half of the card has been embossed using swiss dots folder in cuttlebug with bottom half using paper from Cuddly Buddly. The "for you" greeting was cut on my Cricut. Peel off stars, borders and corners added to finish.
