Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #36

Now I'm not a big animal person but I just love this cute Lion image so new I had to use him!  I made a "batch" of these cards for my hubby to send out for thank you cards for his birthday gifts.

Colour Create Challenge #14

When I saw the challenge this week on Colour Create I knew what I would make. This is a really basic gift bag made from two pieces of A4 card scored 2cm in each side and when stuck together is the perfect size for a DVD!

Double Challenge Card


This is another double challenge card:-
  1. Cute Card Thursday #58 - Use something shiny
  2. Dutch Dare #46 - Sketch
This card for for an order for work and she asked for LOADS of leopard print! I decided to use gems as my "shiny thing" and used my Martha Stewart Embossing punch again for the shaped edge on the sketch. I decorated the inside too with papers and gems.

ABC - K is for.....


This is my DT project for this week's challenge on ABC - K is for keep it simple. We want to to use as little as possible on your projects so a good excuse to use all those extra large images!

I made this little book using my Bind-It-All for my friend. We are away on her hen weekend in May and thought it would be nice for all the girls to put message and pics in.

Triple Challenge Card

This card is made for three challenges: -
  1. Friday Sketchers #48 - Sketch
  2. Colour Create Challenge #12 - Black, White & Pink
  3. Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #3 - Black, White plus one other colour
The sketch layout was for a tall thin card but I love square cards so stretched it to fit. LOL. Used my fave flowers punches again (got to get my monies worth!)

Triple Challenge Card

This card is for three challenges: -
  1. Colour Create Challenge #11 - Chocolate, Coffee & Cream
  2. Sketch & Stash #8 - Sketch layout
  3. Cupcake Craft Challenge #35 - 1 Layer
The image is another of my new stamps from QVC. Background is printed directly onto the card with one layer of paper ontop. I didn't have any thick brown ribbon so coloured some white satin ribbon with ink pad and also the cream flowers are coloured from white using promarkers.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #27

This is my DT card for this week's challenge on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge set by the lovely Donna.

The challenge is a sketch layout with a twist - to use colours taken from pic below - yummy!!!!!

The image is a "Gorguss Girl" from Sugar Nellie coloured with promarkers. Papers are Pink Petticoat "Little Swirls" with ribbon, brads, pearl gems and flowers from my stash.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the result as I normally hate orange but really pleased with the result.

This first card is made for Cupcake Craft Challenge #34 which this week is "folds". The card has the front folded back.

The image is Sara Kay which is coloured with promarkers and cut on cuttlebug using nesties. with edge distressed using Cut 'n' Dry. Papers are freebie from a mag and the sentiment is from Whiff of Joy. Card, gems, brad and flowers from my stash.


This goodie bag is made for this week's challenge on Cute Card Thursday #55 which is "Marshmallow & Chocolate". The idea is to use pink and brown on your project.

This card is made for this week's challenge on Lili of the Valley #25 which is "Fun".

The image and froggy border is from new stamp set by Nellie Snellen and coloured with promarkers. The paper is another freebie from mag and sentiment is from Hero Arts. Main image cut on cuttlebug using labels nesties with edge distressed using Cut 'n' Dry .

Triple Challenge Card

Well I've been such a productive girlie today - ironing this morning, Sunday Lunch cooked, 2 DT cards made and now a triple challenge card! Woohoo - I'm on a roll!!!!

The three challenges for this card are: -

  2. Friday sketchers #45 - sketch layout
  3. Magnolia -v- Stampavie #20 - Red, Black, White & Grey
The image and butterfly are from Magnolia Spring Stamp Club coloured with promarkers and sakura stardust pens. Papers are from Pink Petticoat with stamped greeting, black card, flower, gems and ribbon all from my stash.

This is my DT card for this week's challenge on ABC - E is for Easter!

The images are from Whiff of Joy Spring set with the chick masked and stamped 3 times, coloured with promarkers and cut on cuttlebug using nesties. The paper is a freebie from mag with card stock punched to make a centre strip. The sentiment is from "Girly Curly Sentiments" from Pink Petticoat with the scroll stamp in corners and gems to accent.

On a roll....another card for 2 challenges

This card is for two challenges: -

  2. Papertake sketch #9
The papers are from Pink Petticoat with FF bear coloured with promarkers and pearls to the centre of the flowers. Sentiment from Hero Arts cut on cuttlebug using nesties. Flower cut again on cuttlebug using CB flower die.

Another two cards!

I have made another two cards today - Mojo going well!

This first card is a birthday card for my Mum using sketch on Inspirational Card Sketch #5. Love the simple layout of this but you can do so much more!

The papers are from K & Co with one of my new "Gorguss Girls" from Sugar Nellie that came in the post today - yummy aint she? The image is coloured with promarkers and "MUM" is cut on Cricut using "Storybook" cartridge. Flowers, brads, gems and lace ribbon are from my stash.

This second card is made for friend at work who leaves this week to have her third baby. The card is made using sketch layout for this week's challenge on Cupcake Craft Challenge #28. The papers are new download from Pink Petticoat called "Sweet Flourishes" with Elzybells image and greeting coloured with promarkers. Flowers punched from card and paper with brads in the centre.

Another two cards!

I'm on a roll - 8 hours at work then came home and made two cards!!!!!! Are you impressed???? My mojo seems to have returned - WITH A VENGANCE!!!


This first card is made using sketch on this week's Sketch & Stash Challenge #4 which is to use their sketch and two new images. My lovely hubby treated me yesterday with these two yummy "Smirk" images which have been coloured with promarkers. The papers are from Pink Petticoat "Little Swirls" with sentiment stamped using Elzybells stamp. Ribbon, gems, flowers and brads from my stash.


This second card is made for two challenges: -
  1. Penny Black Saturday Challenge #37 - Get well soon
  2. Sketch Saturday #39 - sketch layout
The image is my last one of a RAK using "Uplifting occasions" coloured with promarkers. The papers are from Funky Hand "It's Funky Too" with sentiment from Hero Arts. Ribbon, gems, flowers and brads from my stash.

Whiff of Joy 17 Feb

I made another card today as my new Spring stamp set came in the post from Whiff of Joy and I couldn't wait to use them (Gorgeous!!!!!)

As they are Whiff of Joy stamps I thought it would be perfect to use for this week's sketch on Whiff of Joy Challenge blog.

The papers are from Pink Petticoat "Little Swirls white". I have coloured the image using promarkers and cut it out and the greeting using new nesties on cuttlebug and put the back layers through again using Swiss Dots embossing folder. Ribbon, flowers, and pearls are from my stash.

ABC.....A is for anniversary

This is my DT card for this week's ABC challenge - A is for anniversary. This is the first time I have "layered" more than one stamped image. Was a bit fiddly using the post-it noted for masks but pleased with the result!

This is my DT card for this week's challenge on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which has been set by Sue which is "At the zoo!"

As the last zoo I went to was a Farm/petting Zoo, I thought I would use one of my lovely animal images from Pink Petticoat (aint he cute!!!) The "birthday words" background is stamped onto vellum.

Double Challenge Card (Now triple)

This is another double challenge card.
  1. Spoon Full of Sugar #36 - Love is in the air
  2. Whiff of Joy #16 - Valentine
I have used my new "Twinkle" image from Pink Petticoat and the sentiment at the bottom is Whiff of Joy - sneaky I know but hope it counts :o) The wrap is vellum that has been put through cuttlebug and embossed with swirls folder.
