High Hopes Challenge #8

This card is made for my ABC DT buddy Cathy for her daughter as she is going into hospital soon (see post below).
The theme this week on High Hopes Challenge was "Buttons and Brads" and I thought this image of "Delia Angel" from High Hopes suited the occasion perfectly as the angel is hugging her cat and I wanted to send hugs to Ellie.
The papers are a freebie from Raspberry Road Designs with image coloured using promarkers from Secret Crafter. Buttons, brads and gems from my stash. The greeting is printed on my PC using Safmat from Secret Crafter.

The papers are freebie from Summertime Designs called "Boy oh Boy" with hand-drawn stitching. Image is one of my new Whiff of Joy stamps, de-winged (sorry if it hurt LOL) and coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter. Sentiment from Elzybells and star brads from my stash (white are white but I have coloured with black stazon).

I struggle with boys cards so I am making an effort to try to make more!

Two more candles with Sugar Nellie Stamps (Funky Kits) and coloured with promarkers (Secret Crafter) with Round Christmas Greeting stamp (Cuddly Buddly). Ribbon, gems and brads from my stash.

Bought 10 candles today from Ikea - bargain at 99p each!

3 Cards - 3 Challenges

This first card is for Whiff of Joy Challenge #2 whose theme was stitching. The image is coloured with promarkers with stickles glitter on wings. I have cut the oval and scallop oval on cuttlebug with nesties with hand drawn stitching around the edge. Papers are from Chris Warner CD with sentiment stamp from Hero Arts. Flowers and gems to finish.


This card is made using sketch challenge on Sketch Saturday Challenge #19. The image is Elzybells stamp coloured with promarkers. The papers are from a Scrapbook Paper CD with the blue panel put through cuttlebug in swiss dots folder. Round stamped greeting from Cuddly Buddly and buttons to finish.


This card is made using sketch #3 on Penny Black Saturday Challenge #17. The image is coloured with promarkers with Cuddly Buddly round stamped greeting. Papers are from Shabby Princess with blue panel put through cuttlebug using swiss dots folder. Star brads to finish.

Papertake Weekly Challenge Sketch #12

Hi,

This card is made for this weeks challenge on Papertake Weekly which is another fabby sketch from Katharina.

The papers are from Crafters Companion Girls CD with Whiff of Joy stamped image coloured with promarkers with swirl stamp around the edge. Cut on cuttlebug with nesties and used funky foam for scallop circle, matt and flowers. Sentiment is from Hero Arts with brads and ribbon from my stash.

Two Double Whammy Cards

I have had these two cards on my craft table part done for a couple of days, but as I have had a horrible cold (on my two days off work too) I didn't finish them.



This first card is made for: -

  1. ABC Challenge - Individual (and DT Call - fingers crossed!!!!)
  2. Friday Sketchers #20 - Layout

The image is one of my new Whiff of Joy stamps coloured with promarkers and stickles glitter glue on her wings, with papers from Pink Petticoat "His n Hers" set, with the brown paper put through my cuttlebug in Happy Birthday embossing folder. Three pink button to finish.

The Edwin, mushrooms and leaves are all from my Fall Magnolia Stamp Club set, coloured with promarkers and set on scallop rectangle cut with nesties on my cuttlebug. The papers are from Kay Miller Designs "All Organic" set. Four brads in the corners to finish.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge #14

Here's my card for Penny Black Saturday #14. The image is coloured with whisper pens with sakura stardust on the waterlily. The image was cut on cuttlebug with nesties and backed onto scallop circle. The papers are from Cuddly Buddly with green bazzill card and brads. The sentiment is from Elzybells.

Triple Whammy 13

Hi,

This is ATC made for Challenge 2 on Basic Grey Challenge Blog.
The brief was to make an ATC using Basic Grey papers. I have used pink and patterned from Sultry. The pink paper was put through cuttlebug with swiss dots folder, with imaged from Magnolia Stamp club coloured with whisper pens and cut on cuttlebug with nesties and scallop of patterned paper. Matted it all onto beige pearl card with brown eyelets in corners and pink ribbon to finish.


I then decided to use the ATC to top a card for another two challenges.

  1. Sketch Saturday #16 - Layout
  2. Tilda & Co #36 - Chocolate Delight (using chocolate, pink and white)

The papers are again from Basic Grey Sultry, with gems, flowers and brads in the corners to finish.

Quite please with this effect.

Sara Kay Weekly Challenge #6

Hi,

This is my first attempt as the Sara Kay Weekly Challenge. The challenge this week is a sketch. For my card I have used Sara Kay stamp, coloured with pencils and blended with sansodor. This was stamped onto a cut oval and scallop oval in lilac pearl card behind, which was cut on my Robo. The scallop oval was put through cuttlebug in swiss dots embossing folder with papers from Kay Miller designs for the sketch layout. Ribbon, gems, flowers, brads and hero arts greeting finish the card.

Double whammy Challenge Card #24


Hi,

This is another double challenge.
  1. Spoon Full of Sugar #12- Secret Message

The Card is made using Elisabeth Bell image coloured with Whisper pens with papers from Kay Miller Designs. Three pastel buttons with brads in the centre added to the card with secret message from Hero Arts with eyelet and ribbon behind the image.

Feel awful today - caught my sister's head cold! (I know she's my twin but she doesn't have to share everything! LOL)
