Spoon Full Of Sugar #54

This card is made using the fabulous sketch this week on Spoon Full of Sugar.  I decided that it would make a perfect card for a friend who leaves work soon to have her second baby.

I love the effect of dots/stitching on the edges and used on the flowers here too!

Triple Challenge Card

This card is for three challenges: -

This is an anniversary card for my friend at work and again I've used pencils for a more muted look as I thought it matched the papers better.

Double Challenge Card

This is a double challenge card: -
  1. Spoon Full of Sugar #50 - Texture
  2. Inspirational Card Sketches #15 - sketch
For the texture I have embossed the blue card and I chose to rotate the sketch. This card is for another order from work so hope she likes it! The only brief I had was ponies/horses. I remembered this set of digital images I had which fits the bill perfectly.

Double Challenge Card

This card is made for two challenges: -

I have used punch for Fiskars border and nesties in cuttlebug for image so ties in with the "die" aspect and I have rotated the sketch as I thought it suited my image better.

A Spoon Full of Sugar #46

This card is made for my Niece's birthday on Monday. It ties in very nicely with this week's challenge on Spoon Full of Sugar which is - "How old" - to use an age on your project.

The image and papers are from Cuddly Buddly with name "LORNA" cut on Cricut using "Storybook" cartridge. Oval and scallop oval cut on cuttlebug using nesties. Silver mirri card, ribbon and gems from my stash.

Spoon Full of Sugar #45

This card is made using sketch on Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge this week. When I first saw the sketch I thought it would be quite complicated but I was pleasantly surprise at how easy the card was to make.

I used "Gorguss Girl" image from Sugar Nellie coloured with promarkers and papers from K & Co "Sparkly Sweet" with sentiment stamp from Elzybells. Gems and flowers from my stash.

I'm on a roll today - 3 cards for challenges and 2 DT cards made. Gotta go with the mojo when it's flowing :)

ABC....D is for distressing


This is my DT card for this week's challenge on ABC - D is for distressing.

Now I don't do distressing on my cards much but thought I would give it a bash! I have put middle band of card through cuttlebug embossing folder then sanded the top to distress. The image is Sugar Nellie "Gorguss girls" coloured with promarkers and paper pieced dress with sentiment from Whiff of Joy. Cuttlebug flowers, ribbon, brads and gems to finish.

This is my second double challenge card today: -

This gorgeous image is a new girlie download from Sketching Stamper, designed by the extremely talented Chris (they are wonderful hun xx). I have coloured "Vicky" with promarkers and mounted onto pink funky foam. The papers are Basic Grey "Two Scoops" with sentiment stamped from Whiff of Joy. Funky foam flower cut on cuttlebug using CB die and gems to finish.

Double Challenge Card (Now triple)

This is another double challenge card.

  2. Whiff of Joy #16 - Valentine
I have used my new "Twinkle" image from Pink Petticoat and the sentiment at the bottom is Whiff of Joy - sneaky I know but hope it counts :o) The wrap is vellum that has been put through cuttlebug and embossed with swirls folder.

Double Challenge Card

This is another double challenge card: -

I only have 3 LOV stamps and thought it was time to use my "cool dude"! I don't make many boys cards as I find them very difficult and so thought if I am going out of my comfort zone then I'll also use 5x7 card as this also "stretches" me! Really please with the muted colours.

Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge #25




This week's challenge on Spoon Full of Sugar is to make a children's card and as I had to make Christmas cards for my 2 nephews and niece I thought this was a perfect time!
The images are all new Christmas Magnolia images, coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter with stickles glitter added. The papers are from Triple Treasures Christmas Background CD from Create and Craft with oval cut on cuttlebug using nesties and border from card in my stash. The names are cut on Cricut using "Storybook" cartridge again from Secret Crafter. Ribbon and gems to finish.

Double whammy Challenge Card #40

This is a double challenge card.
  1. Spoon Full of Sugar #24 - sketch layout

The image is a new Rachelle Ann Miller Stamp coloured with promarkers (both from Secret Crafter) with papers from freebie CD that came with a crafting magazine from Crafters Companion. Sentiment stamp from Elzybells. Eyelets and gems from my stash with stickles glitter added for the "sparkle".

Really love this one and the sketch is fab so I think I may be using it again :o)

Double whammy Challenge Card #38

This is another double challenge card.

The image is a Christmas Forever Friends stamp which my lovely hubby bought for me at the weekend, which has been coloured with promarkers from Secret Crafter and embellished with stickles glitter. The image was cut on cuttlebug using nesties as was the silver mirri card mat. The papers are a freebie from Funky Fairy Blog with round Christmas greeting stamp from Cuddly Buddly and the glitter strip is just double sided tape and loose glitter on top. Snowflakes cut on cuttlebug using cuttlebug die and silver mirri card and gems to finish.

My card is made using Hanglar image coloured with promarkers bought from Secret Crafter, cut on cuttlebug with matt using nesties. Papers are from Basic Grey "Sultry" collections with pink card put through cuttlebug in swirls embossing folder and corner flourishes using CB die. Sentiment from Elzybells with flowers and gems from my stash.

I made a little photo album for my manager who is expecting a baby boy any day now! The papers are from Triple Treasures with Hanglar image coloured with whisper pens, "baby boy" cut on designmaster and Robo. Ribbon strip and buttons to finish. The album is bound using Bind-It-All.
