Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #26

This is my DT card for this week's theme challenge on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which is "Stripes". Can you believe this is our half-birthday!!!! Twenty-six weeks of fun!

The image is a new stamp from Wild Rose Studio which I have stamped onto acetate and coloured using Sakura pens. Papers are from K&Co with sentiment from Elzybells. Ribbon and brads from my stash.

Love the result and may have another play!

This card is made for sketch challenge on Card Positioning Systems. The papers and sentiment are from Pink Petticoat with stamped image from Sugar Nellie which has been water coloured with Sakura stardust pens. The paper behind the stamp has been put through my cuttlebig with swirls embossing folder.

My first Bind-it-all Notebook

Hi,

This is my first Notebook using my Bind-it-all. I bought it from Elaine on Cuddly Buddly Forum last week but this is the first chance I've had to play!

The papers are from a scrapbook cd with image from Cuddly Buddly "Girl Power" set and highlighted with Sakura Stardust clear glitter pen.

This is card using new set of images from Pink Petticoat called "Lola Rose Bubbly". The image is coloured with mix of Sakura Glaze and Stardust pens and framed using nestabilities with papers from Cuddly Buddly "Teddy's New Home" set.

This card is made using stamped image from Penny Black which is water coloured using Sakura Stardust pens. The papers are from Chris Warner "Pastel Doodles" CD. The sentiment is the brainchild of my daughter Emma.

Just love this image - so useful and really funky!

Work today 2.30 - 10.30 and 2nd in run of 5 lates - YUK!!! Then two days off. My week off went soooooo quickly, kids back at school tomorrow, but only few weeks then Easter Hols (kids off two weeks - i'm off two weeks but only one with them!)

Daring Card makers & Susie's Card Challenge #21

Hi,

This card is made for two challenges. One for Daring Card Makers which was us make card using only red and white, and the other is the layout sketch from Susie's Card Challenge #21.

The papers are from Pink Petticoat with red mirri card through Cuttlebug birthday folder and teddy stamped imaged just coloured with red sakura stardust pen on the flowers with gems added to the centre and white brads for accent.

Papertake challenge 14/01/08

Hi,

This is made for Papertake Weekly Challenge. The brief was "This weeks challenge, Roses are Red..' is to use red on your card! Any shade or shades of red that you like from bright pillar box to deep burgundy!! Come on everyone lets paint the town RED!!".

I decided to do a men's car as not made one for a while. The backing paper is from Crafters Companion Mens CD1 with image from Funstamps "Racing Ted" water coloured using Sakura Stardust pens and matted onto red card. Think this stamp is so cute - I think I'll be using him regularly!

Mandala Birthday Card

Morning,

This card is made for my Aunt's birthday. The background paper is from Crafters Companion Everyday CD with purple and lemon card backing the mandala. The stamp is from Graphicus, coloured with Sakura gels pens with flower gems added to centre (to cover up a blunder!!!). Ribbon border with peel offs added to edges.

Off shopping with my sister today to get the stock to make her wedding invitations.

Good Luck Card

Hi,

This is card made for work colleague who is leaving today. It is made using papers from Crafters Companion Floral CD, holographic card and image stamped using Penny Black Stamp and coloured with Sakura Stardust pens and water brush. Love the result!

Work late again tonight and out all day tomorrow so will be very late post, as going to our caravan in Wales to check all ok.

40th Birthday Card

Morning,

This card is made for my friend's 40th at the end of this month. It is made using Pink Petticoat papers and image from "Lola's Boudoir", coloured with sakura stardust in purple. The text I added in my photo program and the flowers are from PP too. The centre brads are from Dovecraft which I bought from Cuddly Buddly. Hope she likes it!

Not feeling well today. Should be at work but have woken up with a horrible cold and no voice - which when you are on the telephone all day, is not good! Going to stay indoors and dose myself with honey and lemon and hope it improves!

Cuddly Buddly October Challenge

Really please with the result.

Had weigh in last night and gained 1 lb. Having major problems with my eating pattern whilst on night shift, but got to get my head in gear as the wedding is only 5 months away.

Fat Book Pages #6

Hi,

These are fat book pages for Craft Swap Forum. I have used Penny Black Stamp, stamped using stazon onto watercolour paper then used sakura stardust pens and water brush to colour. The effect is a slight shimmer to the colour - fab!

Off out lunchtime with my parents for their anniversary, then work at 3pm.

These are pages made for Crafters Companion Forum Fat Page Club. They are made using Lili of the Valley Fairies and papers, with the images being coloured with Sakura Glaze pens and stickles added to the wings.

In a very strange mood today. My daughter Emma has just gone into school for her first day of High School and I feel very sad - and old! This will be her last first day that I take her to. Her next big event will either be work or college and she won't want her mom tagging along!
She was so excited - which is a good thing when you think some parents have real problems getting their kids to school. My son Richard is back later today, and needless to say he isn't excited as it's his 3rd year!
