Lil' old Me

I am a full-time working mum who works shifts with a son Richard aged 23 and a daughter Emma aged 20. I have been married to my lovely Husband Paul for 25 years. My passion in life, besides my family, is papercrafting, especially cardmaking, although I "dabble" in scrapbooking. I was introduced to Jewellery making in 2012 and found another addiction :) I have been cardmaking since 2006. I am also a bit of a tigger freak!

Crafters Companion Facebook Group - Midlands Meet Up

The Crafters Companion Facebook Group had a Midlands Meet up today to have a colouring session and crafty natter for hint and tips at Secret Crafter Shop in Halesowen.  The lovely Wendy and Janet were kind enough for us to "invade" their shop and have a play.  What a lovely bunch of ladies were there today!!  Was a pleasure to be part of a fantastic day.

I coloured images using Spectrum Noirs  from CRAFTERS COMPANION (picking up a few tips from Wendy - mwah xxx) and the cards below are what I made using the images when I got home.

The first is a Humpreys Corner stamp and papers from Humphrey's Corner CD.  I coloured the flowers using Speccie to match the image as they were white and looked too stark.

Second card made using Secret Crafters Poor Boy Manga stamp coloured with Spectrum Noirs and papers are freebies from mag that I distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Lastly is Festive Friends stamp from Sugar Nellie coloured with Spectrum Noirs with papers from Humphreys Corner Christmas CD.  The gems were clear but coloured with Spectrum Noirs to match the image.
