Less is More

Now as you guys who follow my blog know I love "busy" cards - the more embellies the better but I thought it was time I challenged myself to do a clean and simple card. My buddie ALI makes some wonderful CAS cards and she is my "target" LOL. She has also introduced me to a new challenge blog for these types of cards LESS IS MORE - which challenge 6 is "One layer and off the edge".

I never thought it would be so hard and so easy at the same time!!! I started 3 different cards before this one. First with coloured ink in corners and stamped ontop (but looked messy), second a line of stamps diagonally across the card (but that looked wonky) then this one which I am sort of happy with (never happy am I LOL). I am a "quick card maker" anyway so WENDY always tells me, but this was mega quick!

I have also embossed right onto the card using nesties for the first time too - so all in all a very productive experiment!

SENTIMENT:

INKS:

TOOLS:

It's great to see you trying our blog... CAS is not as straight forward and simple as some people may think and these cards are not just a quick alternative.
This looks charming!
Love those stamps.
We'd love to see you back next week!
