Lil' old Me

I am a full-time working mum who works shifts with a son Richard aged 23 and a daughter Emma aged 20. I have been married to my lovely Husband Paul for 25 years. My passion in life, besides my family, is papercrafting, especially cardmaking, although I "dabble" in scrapbooking. I was introduced to Jewellery making in 2012 and found another addiction :) I have been cardmaking since 2006. I am also a bit of a tigger freak!

Crafter's Companion Inspiration Team - Kraft Rose Card

This card is my second for February for CRAFTER'S COMPANION Inspiration Team.

I loved the rose and mandala on Sara's Signature Love & Romance stamps and thought it would make a lovely card for stamped backgrounds.  I used Neenah Desert Storm card and stamped the background first and then the rose & sentiment embossed with white powder  I then coloured with Spectrum Noirs.  After piercing the edges I then layered onto brown card.

I love the soft subtleness of this card - I think it would make a lovely sympathy card.
