Lil' old Me

I am a full-time working mum who works shifts with a son Richard aged 23 and a daughter Emma aged 21. I have been married to my lovely Husband Paul for 26 years. My passion in life, besides my family, is papercrafting, especially cardmaking, although I "dabble" in scrapbooking. I was introduced to Jewellery making in 2012 and found another addiction :) I have been cardmaking since 2006. I am also a bit of a tigger freak!

Sneak Peek Day 2 - Snowman and Snowdog

This Friday sees a new Pick of the Week on Create and Craft which is CRAFTERS COMPANION!!!

We have a new Snowman and Snowdog CD-Rom which has a bonus Father Christmas CD-Rom all from Raymond Briggs.

There will also be stamps and a Hunky Dory paper kit available.

Today is a card using Rocker card page from Father Christmas CD and a photoframe with shaped Snowman card which with a drywipe marker can be used as a countdown calendar.

To make to Christmas Countdown you need:-

Clip it photo frame (mine was 2pk for £2.99 from Tesco)
Printed Snowman shaped card from CD
Letters on CD in alphabet section in smallest size
1 sheet of design paper for backing (I printed borderless so would fit the A4)
1 sheet of co-ordinating paper for the holly Dies'ire die cut and the scallop circle nestie
Circle nestie of white card for "writing on"
scrap of red card for the berries
piece of ribbon and dry-wipe pen.

I printed all the sheets from CD.  After cutting the shaped card I glued to the centre of the backing card.  Glued the letters where I wanted them and the circle for the number.  Die cut the holly and stuck to corner.  Everything is glued flat using collal all purpose glue then framed in A4 size clip-it frame so you can write the numbers onto the glass of the frame using a dry-wipe marker pen.

Some stamped samples tomorrow.
