It is with a very sad heart I post today. Our beloved dog Harvey has had to be put to sleep. He has had a heart condition for a while but we found out a couple of months ago that he had cancer and was untreatable.
Today he was taken into vets as his breathing was laboured and he was having difficulty moving. The vet put him to sleep while my hubby was hugging him and he is now home to be laid for rest in our garden.
We are all devastated. He had just turned 10 and we have had him for the last 2 1/2 years and will always be our baby :(

What a sad time for you all Jane. I can totally sympathise with you hunni, I still think of my boy each and every day and miss him still after five years. Your good memories will see you through.

I am really sorry to hear your news, people who do not have pets do not understand that they are part of the family and it is like losing a son or daughter. Take comfort in the good life you gave him and that you have done the right thing and remember the happy times.

I'm so sorry to read this sad news Jane, I'm a dog owner myself and can understand your heartache. You gave him a happy life and have done the kindest thing for him, I hope knowing this will give you some comfort.

so sorry to hear your sad news. my 17 year old yorkshire terrier had to be put to sleep in February we miss him every day they break your heart when you have to say goodbye.but take comfort in the love you gave each other
