I am a full-time working mum who works shifts with a son Richard aged 23 and a daughter Emma aged 21. I have been married to my lovely Husband Paul for 26 years. My passion in life, besides my family, is papercrafting, especially cardmaking, although I "dabble" in scrapbooking. I was introduced to Jewellery making in 2012 and found another addiction :) I have been cardmaking since 2006. I am also a bit of a tigger freak!

New Darice folders from Crafters Companion

CRAFTERS COMPANION have some fabulous new Darice folders on their website.  The lovely Sara and Leann sent me two sets to make some samples.  The first set is of 3 borders which I have used on the first two cards.

This first one is made using coredinations Ebony & Ivory pack.  I embossed one of each of the 3 borders and sanded to reveal the embossing.  Sentiment in the centre and card is done - love it!

The second card is also made using one of the border folders.  I embossed 4 times with purple card from Ebony & Ivory Coredinations and cut at 45 degree angles in corners to made a frame.  Sanded and raised on foam tape.  Punched squares for centre with sentiment and pearls to finish.

The last card is made using Argyle folder.  Embossed on two different shades of  brown card from Ebony & Ivory Coredinations, sanded and distressed the top layer with Walnut Stain distress ink and cut down slightly. Punched flowers, leaves and sentiment to finish.

There are loads of new folders in diff sizes.  You can find then all HERE.

  • 4.23" x 5,75"
  • 4,23" x 5.75" borders, 3 per pack
  • 5" x 7"
  • 2.5" x 12" borders
