Two cards for challenges

Today I made these two Christmas cards.  I'm trying to make a mixture of Cute and CAS cards this year.

This first card has a CB snowflake punches through the white card and then cross-hatched embossing lines on my MS scoreboard.  Then sprayed spray and sparkle onto white card to make glitter card for one of the mats for the sentiment and one of the punched snowflakes, then pale blue bazzill card for the bottom layer to show through the aperture and for punch small snowflake and mat on greeting.

CARD SIZE:
5" x 5"
SENTIMENT:
Elzybells
TOOLS:
Cuttlebug
MS Scoreboard
CB snowflake die
Snowflake punch in large and small
Word window and Modern label punch
Bowshaper
OTHERS:
Pearl brads, white card, blue bazzill card

This second card was and idea I had a while ago.  I cut a triangle base and punched 3 different green card with border punch and then layered onto the shape.  Added gems for bling and matted onto white card that has been embossed in bauble embossing folder.  Matted that onto green card and gems for the corner.

CARD SIZE:
4.25" x 5.5"
TOOLS:
Cuttlebug
Baubles embossing folder
MS Border punch
OTHERS:
Green and white card and gems from stash

These cards fit the following challenges:-

  1. Deep Ocean Challenge #6 - Light Blue
  2. Papertake - Dies to Die for
  3. The Paper Shelter #28 - Die cuts and Punches
  4. Charisma #34 - Glitter it
  5. Night Shift Stamper #81 - Non Cute
  6. Sew Many Challenges #66 - Edge punch
  7. Winter Wonderland - Trim a Tree

I realy like both of these cards Jane - they are so effective - and no stamps or cds in sight! And the Chrismas tree is such a clever idea.
