Winter Wonderland DT

This is my DT project for this week's challenge on WINTER WONDERLAND. The theme this week is:

EMBOSSING - DRY OR HEAT

We are sponsored by Stitchy Bear and Sentiments for you. They are both offering a $10 certificate for the each winner to spend in their shops. Click on the banners to take a peak - so many gorgeous images I'm not sure I could choose :)

For my card I decided I would do both dry and heat embossing as I love both techniques. The image and sentiment are stamped with black ink then heat embossed with glitter embossing powder. Close up below - can you see the sparkle??

I didn't want much colour on the image so just coloured the holly on both and added My Paper World Gloss pen to the berries.

I dry embossed the background and went round the edges of all with "Old Paper" Distress ink and mounted on white glitter card. Love it :):)

Take a lookey at the CHALLENGE BLOG to see the other girlies creations and to join us - but remember IT MUST BE CHRISTMAS THEMED!!!
