The challenge this time on Elzybells Blog is to make your own backing paper. I love doing this but don't spend enough time making it as there are sooooo many beautiful papers out there. I thought as I had not done any for so long I would make two cards - one girl and one boy.
This first card has paper made using sentiment stamp onto white card then heat embossed using clear embossing powder and chalk inks blended over.
Image : Cutie Patootie (07-020) from Elzybells
Sentiment: Wishes/birthday/thanks (03-175) from Elzybells
Medium: Promarkers
Tools: Cuttlebug, blossom nesties, circle nesties, Woodware Daisy punch in 3 sizes
Pearls, spacers and brads from stash
This card is a little simpler. I stamped the backgrounds onto blue card using new pigment ink from Elzybells in whipped cream. I made a simple easel card and matt and layered blue and yellow bazzill.
Image, sentiment & background stamps: Boys will be Boys clear set (20-008) from Elzybells
Medium: Proamarkers
Tools: Cuttlebug & nesties
Brads from stash

Fabby cards honey your backing is brilliant.
Hi Jane,
These are beautiful but my favourite has to be the girl card. It's so charming and gorgeously coloured.
