ABC - V is for.....

....VELLUM!!

This is my DT card for this week's challenge on ABC. When I saw vellum was the theme I was a little stumped as I don't use much vellum on projects because of adhesive showing, but I decided to attached with brads on this project. The vellum is stamped then clear/glitter embossing powder over and heated - love the sparkle!!!!

As last week was our Anniversary the DT have each chosen our fave entry of the challenge. I chose Fern - a very talented 11 year old crafter. You can see her entry here. Great card Fern, I will be sending you some stamped images and other goodies. Send your address via mail link on the right.

Hi Jane,
Wow this card is a total stunner... i love the stamped vellum, it gives such a great effect.
I know what you mean about seeing the addehise behind vellum.... why don't you try using white flower peeloffs attached to vellum, and then cut them out, this way you won't see any adhesive behind them.
I made some on my blog ages ago. ( sorry the link isn't working, but the post is titled Spoon Full Of Sugar and Cupcake Craft Challenges, it's towards the bottom.)
