Engagement card

We are going to an Engagement party on Saturday and this is the card I made for them

I used a Crafter's Companion background die with black sparkly card and the image is a Lili of the Valley penguins coloured with copics.  Sentiment stamp is a retired Stampin' Up! Stamp.

It's been a while

Picture heavy post....

Wow it's been an ages since I posted here. I've now become a Nanna to a darling Grandson Finley who blessed us when he was born end of May. He's such a happy boy, my little sunshine. This is our little man with his Mommy and Daddy ❤️

I've still be creating but just kept forgetting to post here.

I'll do a large dump of projects up to date and will then post more regularly ( early resolution)

Another female birthday card

Loved making this card.  Used one of my fave flower stamps and really getting to grips with colouring with copics now and of course my favourite colour too -  purple.

I coloured the image and was not happy with it all so stamped again and cut out the flowers and layered on top of the other stamped image to give 3d effect.

I didn't have a suitable frame die so I cut the image and sentiment in squares with matting layer of card and the used corner punch to make a decorative shape.

I decorated inside the card too and stamped another little flower and coloured with same markers.

 Items used

Papers - Retired Friendly Hello from Stampin' Up!

Card - Gorgeous Grape and Thick Whisper White from Stampin' Up! and White Neenah from Crafter's Companion

Copics - G02, G16, G28, BG93, G99, V01, V15 & V17

Stamps - Retired Birthday Blooms

Others - Corner punch, Small flower punch and pearls

Embossed Christmas Card

I had a play with layering dry embossed card to look like hills of snow for this card.  Inked sky and stamps coloured with copics.  Stamps are from my very old stash (I think they were free with a magazine yonks ago!)
Quite pleased with the result but I think next time I would have the layers more pronounced with 3d foam tape between.

Another Christmas Card for my collection - doing very well indeed :)

Used:
Retired Softly Falling embossing folder from Stampin' Up!
Balmy Blue ink from Stampin' Up!
Woodware circle and scallop circle punches
Copic markers, gems from stash
