Stamp Fairy #25

This week's challenge on STAMP FAIRY CHALLENGE is a wonderful sketch for us to follow. I love the simple layout of it. Below is my card.

I used "Lenny Thank you" which I printed onto the card stock and added the sentiment on PC too. I coloured with promarkers then shaded using pencils (love the soft effect of this). The papers were in a mixed bunch I bought from SECRET CRAFTER but don't know what the make is. The base card is 4.25" x 5.25".

Take a lookey at the challenge blog to see the other girlies creations and to join us.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #136

This is my DT card for this week's challenge on SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE which this week is set by the lovely KELLY. She has chosen a theme of:-

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

I am loving CAS cards lately and this one I'm very pleased with. I masked the edges of the card with tape so a crisp white border is left then random stamped my flower stamp around the edge. The flower, flower centre and bumble bee are all from an old Stampin Up set that I bought from ebay - love them!!! The sentiment is a rub-on from Letraset.

Winter Wonderland

This is a long post but has some fabulous news and chances of prizes.

WINTER WONDERLAND will be 2 on 30 May and we are celebrating by having a week long blog hop. We have 11 sponsors this week, yes, that’s right 11!!! But that’s not all because each member of the DT has some candy to give away too. Both teams are playing along this week plus Janet who joins us at the end of each month so that’s another 11 prizes to be won.

We would like to have as many prize winners as possible so if your name is drawn for more than one prize we will draw again. That means 22 lucky people will win a prize this week. With so many prize winners we won’t be choosing a top 3 just for this week.

All you have to do to join in the fun is:
  • · Play along with this week’s easy and fun challenge
  • · Be a follower of Winter Wonderland
  • · Visit each member of the DT and collect a letter
  • · Leave them a comment and enter their candy draw
  • · Rearrange the letters to make a two word Christmas Carol
  • · E-mail the answer to Winter Wonderland
Of course you don’t have to join in the blog hop if you don’t want to. You can still enter this week’s challenge and be in with the chance of winning one of the 11 prizes this week but why miss out on doubling your chance of winning.

To enter my candy (which is a mix of papers, flowers and a Scooby Doo stamp set) you will need to leave a link in the blue froggy below. The winners will be posted Sunday 5th June at 11am.

The letter you need to collect from me is...........

I

The next person on the hop is ........... DENISE.

The sponsor that I am showcasing is Secret Crafter. The lovely Wendy is offering 3 digi stamps of the winners choice.

My card is made using "Christmas Angel" which is a digi from SECRET CRAFTER. She is a dream to colour and makes a perfect girls Christmas Card. The snowflakes are punched from Kraft card which I have sprayed with mixture of water and ink.

I made the card using papers and card from Stampin Up. Lovely service from LINDA as always - the papers I bought a few weeks ago from the Mini Catalogue and the card is Old Olive. Linda is also offering 10% discount until beginning of June on all orders. The sentiment is cut using a section of Lables 4 Nestie.

I'm again trying other card sizes and this is a 7" x 5" card.

I have also paper pieced her dress and bow on the top image and her bow on the bottom one. Below is a piccie from the side.

C&S double challenge card

This week on CLEAN AND SIMPLE STAMPING #139 is a fabby sketch. I also found a new C&S challenge called CAS-UAL FRIDAY #1 which has it's first challenge as "Text".

My card is made using scrummy new papers from SU Mini catalogue called "Vintage Springtime" which I bought from the lovely LINDA - SU Demonstrator. They are double sided and it took all my strength to cut into them as I just wanted to continue stroking them LOL.

I made my rosette on MS board scoring a 12" strip at every 1/4" then concertina folding and joining the ends.

This is another A6 card - getting better and more comfortable away from my square cards.
